This device won't make a night and day difference and isn't a problem solver, as this kind of work is way more specific than a one knob device ever can be. HOWEVER - it will get a finishing touch on your track and give that modern polish that you hear from many Metal tracks today! It will also reduce the dynamic range and increase the overall loudness so your final limiter won't need to work hard at all.
